Student Council - Best way to reveal 'humanity'?

Trends of people are sure... wierd and funny... right?

Student's Council. There are only half of the 'supposed' number of candidates compared to previous year. Perhaps what had happened make the'future' candidates afraid to join the council? Still the fact that there are a number of people that joins student council for the reason of Euro Trip (or maybe Middle East? As long as it is an international trip) for free, and exception of students' fee? So they don't really mind even though their name were cursed by other students that have voted for them?

A number of students (maybe half) joined as the reason mentioned above. Well. There are still some fellas really done their job well, at least offer something for every semester break?

And try to imagine this year's manifestos made by the students. Creative, and funny (?). Let's see what I have found from the manifestos... We have MAGGI, POWER, LOVE, 6M (maybe derived from 3M). And some of them making manifestos are like shouting. The key is will you do what you mentioned in the manifesto? If not, then you are making a fake promise that sounds pretty nuts. Join the council just for own benefit. You want to know how desperate a candidate of the council can be? Like the voting in the country - candidates gives propoganda and asking for support everywhere, even the lecture hall. The worst - The lecture hall's wallpaper is someone's face that mentioned "Vote for me"... Duh.

The more surprising thing that I can see in this election of the council - they have improved their voting system. No more old style - put an X on desired number and the tendency of invalid votes decreased (It does not mean that you cannot make invalid votes!). Voting systems are always good, but not perfect enough... Well, at least the result is generated faster and saves resource.

Who wins the council (and whom is 'the 12.5% lost' - Because the losing rate is 1/8, we need to vote 7 out of 8)? Not necessary to give a damn at it. Let's see if they improved and promise to do what they have mentioned in the manifesto!
