This is what we called... LIFE! #3

Ever go to eat French Cuisine before? I and my 'mates' have the experience just in a few days ago!

There's a French restaurant called Fratinni's in Warisan Square. We decided to go there and try the new taste of food.

When we looked at the menu, my first response: somehow... expensive, but since that we rarely come to this kind of places, it will worth to have a try.

Here it goes...

The drink, Cafe Fratinni (if I recall the name right), something like Kopi 'O, but more to Latte (or in other style).

This is called... Carbonara, something will milk and mayonnaise cream and meat + pasta.

Seafood pasta, as you can see there, prawns. Called seafood Fettucine, I think.

The Haiwaiian Pizza, different a little bit if compared to the Pizza Hut. And this is not the original one as the chicken chunk and meat is not available so it changed to sausage.

Garlic bread, topped with anchovies, cheese and some sort of vegetable salad at the left?

See how Fiona look at the menu 'seriously'.

The phone maniacs (also jokers, called Garry and Lawson)... Non-stop SMS even after the meal, eh.

Lawson and Fiona want to have a memory in the restaurant. Forgot that there is a mirror, ah...

It seems that at the time we are going there, there is a 30% discount for all pastas and pizzas. But still the price when we checkout is somehow expensive, that's what I think about.

Yeah... We also have a Japanese cuisine after that!

The view of the Japanese Restaurant that we went to, located in City Mall (as long as you have vehicles, if not it will cause you trouble when you want to go there.)

Talk about Japanese Food, then it will be sushi (迴轉壽司)then. The color of plate here determines the value of the sushi. At here, the aqua plate costs RM4 while the red is RM 6.

Salmon fish + fried rice. Nothing to drag off about this, except the miso soup (味增汤).
The miso soup put a lot of seasonings that I never seen before. Have a weird smell but still it tastes OK.

Sweet and Sour chicken with the garlic fried rice. If it it is more on the volume will be better though.
Some sort of sashimi, looks like the grilled salmon fish.

It seems that that day we have a lot of money. Try Japanese food and also French food. It seems that Japanese food is quite popular and more crowded at the restaurant. Because Malaysian is Asian so they more keen into Japanese food (Asian food)?

It is worth a try on these foods, since it is quite a rare occasion when you can go to such places, with your friends and enjoying there, you know.

This is what we called... LIFE! #2

Today I have went to try another type of cuisine (last month I tried Spanish food). My friends and I have went to a Italian restaurant (located in King Fisher) called The S'wich (pronounced as Espwich I think) this afternoon.
The view of The S'wich from outside.

View of the S'wich from inside. A lot of posters and paintings can be found in the side of the wall.
Complimentary from the chef, but I don't have any point what is this... Sort of baked chips seasoned with herbs and olive oil.
Croquettes which is deep fried mashed potatoes with garlic sauce. (As appetizer)

See how Julie enjoyed her food...
Homemade Hawaiian Pizza (As main course)
Timber sandwiches. Staffed with smoked beef, egg, mayonnaise, and herb. (another main course maybe?)

Tiramisu = Tira, I mis u. (The dessert)

That's what we have for our lunch. Quite delicious, I can say. Especially on the tiramisu - chill and sweet. If it can be cheaper for this, how good...

If you love Italian cuisine and lazy to go out after the hostel, then come to KF and thfind this restaurant and have a great meal in it. Believe me, it is delicious, even it might be a bit expensive.

This is what we called... LIFE!

Spanish cuisine lovers, here is the place that you can go for having a meal of fully in 'Spanish' style.

Once for a while, I and my friends will go to some places and try some new style of food. Well... I can say that this time we have targeted the Spanish food.

Why?

I have a 20% discount voucher where I get it in Spanish Night. Might not be a lot, but it is better than nothing.

When we arrives at there, we have served by the waitress and look through the menu. After we have ordered something, these are the first thing it comes - appetizer. Maybe?

A small glass of mixed juice with some small slices of apple, and then some little loaves of bread with a mixed sauce, I don't know what it is, but at least it is not spicy.

I really cannot get used to the sauce, but luckily the drink is not awful, but delicious and sweet (it costs me some time for the first drink).

The two dishes and also the drink - the tea. (I cannot recall the name of the tea). The oval plate in the left is the Spanish cuisine logo (one of them), called patatas (or potatos in English). And the one at right with a square plate, is called pallas, or chicken if I am right. It is some sort of... fried chicken maybe?

This is the main course. The Spanish chicken fried rice. Frias Pallas (just if I am right). Anyway, this is somehow costly and I might not recommend to order this. However, the potatoes and the chicken in the second image are really...... GREAT. Worth a try at it.

This restaurant is in Warisan Square, Block B. Find it yourself as I don't know how to describe the directions.

I really love on the potatoes, even it might be a bit costly, but this is life. Try something new, and we will know more about the culture, anything, even your life is enriched (but not your wallet).
