Notice for the DA and Syntax -.-

I wanna to share a good news; and also a bad news. Wanna to hear it?

Good news for all TESL mates': The class of Syntax is canceled tomorrow.

The bad news for all DA mates': We might need to suffer roughly 3 to 6 hours lecture with the Ass Pro Doctor tomorrow!

Even though this is not so sure yet (for the bad news), but still, please prepare for the worst as the jerk will do anything. He is the one who ruined the life of all of us -.-

Yeah... I also just created a in Friendster Groups. So I am searching for people who wants to join the group to humiliate him as the jerk humiliate us during the lecture. Who knows what he is going to do? As he is a naive and 'professional' lecturer after all...

A Happy Day!

Today I am happy, even though I had my presentation (as first presenter) in the jerk's class~ Oh well... A last minute presentation made from me... Still it was able to 'completed' it's task even though my laptop is on the crisis now. I need to take the laptop to repair by tomorrow otherwise I will face for the worse - Hard Disk Failure -.-

Will you pissed off when all of your important data and documents lost in the very minutes? Well I did, that's why I have to release out the tension of me that have suffered for days to somebody.

Guess what I did today? I use an example and said him as 'jerk' at the tutorial, and most of my friends are shocked! Well~ The word 'jerk' is not only used for insulting, as it is able to use in the terms of science, speed, direction and also as a noun, this is a best word that I can think about for the moment to release my tension and the humiliation from him. Hmm... A counter-attack LOL~

Conclusion? anyone who hates him~ I have made up an revenge for you! Even though I was critic by him, but after all it is just the grammatical problem, and I will try my best to improve it. Download the article? Hmm... I think I will copy from my friends instead of download it.

No idea that why the tutorial of him is totally different from some of our lecturer's tutorial that also held out by today afternoon?

I think I can stand for him at least a few times again. I have countered and I think he will counter those things on me by sooner. Who knows? He is an olde' and meanie (even RM8 also not afford for the refunds yet he can sell the book to our coursemates by the following semester, and as an Ass. Pro. ... ... The salary is high - but not afford to buy a projector? Nonsense.)

The war of the TESL-ian's with a lecturer...

Today will the day I am really pissed off, I was challenged by somebody about my computer literal skills! (I think all of us in the morning class today MOSTLY TO ALL of us are totally pissed off)

It happens in the morning. We are going to have a class. But I walk into the class late because I and my friends are still hanging outside for breakfast. After that, when I walked into the class, my friend tell me not to show my laptop because the people that love to 'show off' just blown his laptop out - by changing his title (as usual - when he opens his Power Point, the first thing he say obviously:" I forget to change my title again") or whatsoever...

After that, 'show off' went to borrow the laptop from the school, and yet he asks us to set it up for him when we are peeking at him. I guess that he is not so skillful on setting up the laptop as well as the projector, therefore he use an excuse that "teachers need to know everything". Other lecturers will just directly asks for help if he/she don't know how to do it. However, this 'show off' is really different - as the name, loves to show off.

The projector and laptop are all set, but he cannot make the screen at the laptop shows at the projector (I need to admit that he is poor in computing skills)... Here's the point that our class atmosphere become worse. He is just having a extremely minor display problem which can be easily fixed by me (or even some of my friends).

"Anyone can volunteer to help me to find the technician for this problem?" (What is the point you are finding the technician? Are you so sure that all of us in the class cannot solve the problem?)
10 seconds later.
"Anyone? Can help me to solve it?"
....
....
....

Then, he is ordering someone to call the technician, and he asks that anyone of us can solve the problem (by now). Therefore, I volunteered myself to help him as I cannot stand on him again on his silly actions.

When I walked up to offer the help, he asked:
"Are you sure you can do it? I don't think you are able to do it."

Hey! He is asking for help yet he still put your pride into that level?! I endured it and I am going to let him know the instructions, and he say: "No, let me do it. You had do it once and I had do it many times. (Hey! I did not even touch your laptop yet, how you know I can't do it by just a peek?!) I think you are out of my league because I have tried it many times."

What the heck you think you are?! Just a PHD means you are superior on everything eh, uncle?! If talking about the course I think I might not into your league, but hey, excuse me! Most of my friends knew that I am good at computing skills, even though I am not as good as the technician as they have undergo training, but I am not! Computer skills? You are the one supposed to be out of my league, jerk!

And after that fixed out, he said the laptop still got problem. He is 'blind' that until the 'My Computer' icon is shown at desktop and all of us saw it - except him. Now he putted his pen drive on, and he say that his pendrive was infected by virus. Wow, how 'pro' of him! Even myself that cannot confirm that once you put in the drive, the pen drive will directly infected. Who knows the laptop he borrowed was using this kind of views?! He said that the views are different, not like the one he saw normally.

Then the 'show off' pissed off and started to blame and scolding at us. In fact you are the one who cannot do anything well! Some dedicated lecturers come early or will have faith with someone to make sure everything goes fine - except him. For a helper like me... I will also ignore what happened to him. Not only that not appreciate on the aid yet insulting me because I am helping him.

Laugh at him? Sure! Why not?! Because he is lame!

Kononnya sendiri Ass. Pro... mana tahu laptop pun tak tau guna, sampai laptop sendiri yang hangkang. Salah siapa kot?

Asking us to go out because we are not 'freash' whatever he calls. We are not 'freash' because we meet somebody in the likes of him. Dare or not, if he is asking for the survey, I doubt who will agree with a 8am class. Oh... Forget it. He is not only 'show off' but also 'syok sendiri'.

The points I and my friends saying him so:

1. He asks us:" Do you want to cancel the lecture today?" 90% of us want to cancel it. However, he answered, "But I want to have the lecture by today."

What is the point you are asking then?

2. "...... I am a successful person because I have overcome such problem. If we got problems in facilities, we should go to complain and let them improve. That's why I am successful."

He are successful... perhaps in the course , publishing books. But you are extremely poor in computer and also the social skills. Said that he wants to decrease the gap between the lecturer and the student, in fact he is increasing the gap. He should consider yourself as a failure. Perhaps he is good at academic, but it is clearly that he is also a person that loves to boasting.

3. Course Outlines, 50% of the reference is his book. In fact if you look closely, you will found that the book he wants to refer got not even a hitch with the course he is teaching. Talking nonsense and showing off is great, this is the thing we should reckon of.

4. "I got 3 reasons I need to cancel my class today.

i. The projector is working, laptop is working but the laptop is infected by virus. I don't want my pen drive later also infected by virus because I need to throw my pen drive later. Why? When my pen drive infected by virus, I need to delete all of the things inside the pen drive include the setting inside the pen drive.
ii. I am wearing wrong spectacles so that I cannot see clearly. I am also wasting my time here.
iii. This is the main reason. You all are not fresh today. So I cancel this class. But use the free time and go to the library and find the books that is in the outline."

Lame, lame, lame! He need to delete or throw his pen drive because of virus? Ridiculous! He don't even know the term 'format pen drive' but talking nonsense. This clearly shows out his stupidity... Then, does wrong spectacles got to do with lecture? Claimed that he is wasting his time. His time is precious, so it means that our time is not precious. Main reason? We all are not fresh because of 'show off-er'. Nobody loves to wake up early and suffer in the first lecture. Find the books? Most of them are the non-related books from him and wanted us to put into our assignment, huh...

Clearly that we will going to hate this fella for the rest of the years. We laughs at him because he such a loser and lamer that always acclaim himself is a successful person... In fact, he is not. Perhaps in academic only?

First Lectures in the school

Well. Started the first lecture in the first two weeks in the school. Obviously there are a lot of surprises and problems happens.

DA
"I have just changed my title, to Ass. Pro. Dr.." This is what he said in the beginning of the lecture///////////

DA? The discourse analysis. At the beginning I am not planning to take this class, after that, uh... And I take this course. Why? 5 people take this course in the beginning, try to imagine that. Perhaps I am afraid him to take revenge on us by the future semester. So... After his first lecture, it seems that his teaching style is quite acceptable, but perhaps the personality -.- is the thing I need time to accept it.

SYN
Now about syntax. The lecturer seems have a 'pleasant' teaching as he seems to be not understand to what happens to his class. Amusing. Hopefully he is not the killer that our seniors mentioned about.

LANG TEST
Language Testing... Never heard about this new lecturer a.k.a our new coordinator. Gosh. I accidentally dropped this course and now I am having trouble to re-register the course. Hopefully this can be solved by the next lecture as this is a compulsory subject, after all.

SPANISH
Harder than before. I wonder that I can survive by this semester, or not?

There are still several major subjects for my school, but I just hope that it will not pose a threat for me as I already suffer for the program courses for this semester.

Maybe it will come with new surprises and stresses, as a lot of the lecturers had give their first assignment to us and we will need to be prepared to do it, and face for the worst.

New semester - new dillemas?

It seems that a few days later it will be the new semester for all of the university students. But, there's the question: this coming semester is bringing new hope or chaos or dilemma?

Trick or treat?
It sounds as a dilemma for me- I am sick for days and now quite soon I need to go back to study. It seems that not so serious (throat ache + fever) but still it take ages to recover from this illness. What a great timing - choosing the date I am going back to school 'to sick'.

No sign of recover, but still the illness does not become serious. Injection taken, Medicine taken...

Well... I don't know that I can recover by tomorrow or not. If not surely I will have a lot of problems sooner.

Good news? Chaos? Troubles?
Today I also informed by my friend (sorry man - my hand phone expired but still not yet reload) about our course, which we are going to meet 2 killers in a row for this semester. Just going to praise on the academic department - What the hell are you doing? If you don't know how to arrange then let the students pick the course which they offered for a year - and not follow by your own convenience! Almost our major and school subject clash with each another. Not so sure about the 3rd and 4th year students in my batch, but I am sure that they are doing 'a great work' on scheduling the time table for the 1st year and 2nd year students.

We wanted to balance our weakness and strengths so we can get a better stack on the results.. It seems that you will got no chance to do it.

It seems that most of us are not like on the way our academic department's service. What is the reason, huh?

I guess even though they know, will be useless too. Like the Hookien dialect say:

"Kong Poon Boh Yong lar!"

Real Chaos?
Now is the real problem for our courses. Seems that our major are all stacked on a same day. We not only need to face killers but 4 hours in a row (in case we choose to take the course). More even worse, we will have no idea what is that fella teaching, and his tests are mainly scoped in all parts without giving any range for us to prepare. What kind of lecturer is this? This is not the way a lecturer supposed to be!

Choosing to take the two courses in the semester will drain your 'life' more even faster. I think the better option will be taking one of them, and the second one by the next semester (even though not so sure that he will ban us from holiday or not, but surely he is a person who always proud of himself. Attending his class will only hear about the showoffs from him instead the thing he supposed to teach).

Sigh... What a 'year of hardship'.
