2008 is gone, 2009 is coming!

It is true about a Chinese proverb:"The years will not have mercy on the people. 岁月不饶人."

It seems that the time are passing very fast - that year 2008 is 'gone' just like that. Guess I have a lot of things that I will never forget about my 2008's.

Let me have a review about this, about my 8's special in this year (frankly is more about the second half of 2008 though)...

My 8's in 2008! Click here to view it!

1. I am now a sophomore student in my faculty. It seems that I need to become more mature 'again'. Unbelievably that I managed to survived in university due to 'killers'.

2. In 2008, I have lost control on myself for the 3rd time in my life.

3. About my course, surprisingly that there is only lecturer in my 'blacklist'. (there supposed to be 2 but I have gained my neutral side on the lecturer. Thinking back, he is not that bad after all, by giving a fair result to us, even though his final is easy but nuts <2> and sometimes boastful).

4. I 'accidentally' become the head of my foreign language Family Day's leader as well as a EXCO of my school's association. Surprising.

5. With my personality, it is surprisingly that I am able to survive again with some killers and get a acceptable pointer for the 3rd semester.

6. There are some course's result are out of my expectation. For instance, my DA and Syntax. I expect to get a B only but it seems that these results are better than what I have expected. Certain major school courses that I expect to get an A or just a B- ended up with poor results. My seniors said that the school subjects help you to raise your pointers but it seems to be a little different on mine... Surprised.

7. Never thought of myself will get a Celcom and Digi Boroadband for the sake of online in my hostel.

8. I had make my plan that what I am going to do for my school life in next semester. But just about the beginning and after my event that I am leading for February. Not my style.

Whatever ranting it is, the new year is coming. So just forget all the grudges that I have made with my friends, with "aud lang syne" and make sure that you and I will receive new wishes, hopes and missions in the following year!

Happy New Year 2009! May all your wishes come true!
(even it is not Christmas nor birthday >.<)

小学的华语的作业?!

Well... Since the SMP of our school have major problem, and there are even some courses that we should and can register is not out yet (I don't know yours but I have tried several times to log in but failed), so I can only surf the web for something else. Eventually...

This is what I found through surfing 'net' and I think this joke is good to be shared with you all. The original version is in Chinese, however, I
tried my best to translate the sentences into English, and hopefully these are translated correctly. Enjoy.

这个是一个很搞笑的题目。在网上找到的,特地在这里分享一下。

现在小学语文题,看他们的一道作业题:
This is a question in a primary school, that use the student's ability to combine the four sentences into one through conjunction.

要求:把以下四句话用关联词连接:
1、张海迪姐姐瘫痪了;
Sister Haiti is paralyzed.

2、张海迪姐姐顽强地学习;
Sister Haiti study tenaciously (hard).

3、张海迪姐姐学会了多门外语;
Sister Haiti learned a lot of foreign languages.

4、张海迪姐姐学会了针灸。
Sister Haiti learned acupuncture.

(注:正确答案应该是:张海迪姐姐虽然瘫痪了,但顽强地学习,不仅学会了多门外语,而且还学会了针灸。)
The correct answer should he:
Although Sister Haiti is paralyzed, she still study tenaciously, not only she learned a lot of foreign languages, but also learned acupuncture.

结果有一个孩子写:
Then a child wrote:

虽然张海迪姐姐顽强地学会了针灸和多门外语,可她还是瘫痪了。
Even though Sister Haiti study hard on acupuncture and a lot of foreign languages, but she still paralyzed.

后来,发现更猛的孩子写道:
After that, there are even more 'better' children wrote:

张海迪姐姐不但学会了外语,还会了针灸,她那么顽强地学习,终于瘫痪了。
Sister Haiti not only learned a lot of foreign languages, she also learned acupuncture. However, she studied hard, finally paralyzed.

张海迪姐姐之所以瘫痪了,是因为顽强地学习,非但学会了多门外语,甚至学会了针灸。
The reason that Sister Haiti paralyzed is because she studied hard, until she learned a lot of foreign languages, and also acupuncture.

张海迪姐姐是那么顽强的学习,不但学会了多门外语和针灸,最后还学会了瘫痪。
Sister Haiti always study hard, not only learned a lot of foreign languages and acupuncture, finally she learned how to paralyze.

张海迪姐姐学会了多门外语,学会了针灸,又在顽强的学习瘫痪。
Sister Haiti learned a lot of foreign languages, learned acupuncture, and study hard about paralyze.

张海迪姐姐通过顽强的学习,学会了多门外语和针灸,结果照着一本外文版针灸书把自己扎瘫痪了。
Through study hard, Sister Haiti learned a lot of foreign language and acupuncture, as a result, she follow a foreign language version's acupuncture book and paralyzed herself.

因为张海迪姐姐瘫痪了,所以顽强的学习。可是她学到了多门外语,却忘了学到对她自己有帮助的针灸。
Because Sister Haiti is paralyzed, so she studied hard. However, she learned a lot of foreign language but forget to study about acupuncture that can help herself.

Gaming flaws on a Dynasty Warriors...?

Well, through vigorous 'gaming' and learning my language skills, I might need to reconsider that is it gaming will really improve the language ability of the users.

So far, Dynasty Warrior Series is my favourite game, and when I am playing this old game (Dynasty Warriors Vol.2 from PSP), eventually that I found something about this game, so I decided to share the information to y'all.

The interface of the game, just a little bit difference from PC and PS2 Version (except less voice and the battle interface is using strategy mode instead of a real ACT game like PC or PS2). And PSP version enables you to choose certain officers to become your body guard, includes officers from Water Margin and Samurai Warriors. Certain Ancient Warriors (Xiang Yu, Liu Bang) is also enabled in this mode, and most Romance of The Three Kingdom Warriors head image is replaced with the images in Sangokushi 10 and 11.

Like most of us say, nothing is perfect. And that goes to the gaming too. It is not easy to create a flawless game (I consider Dynasty Warrior 5/ Shin Sangoku Musou 5) is the best DW game, apart from Warriors Orochi Series and Samurai Warrior Series. Perhaps Dynasty Warriors Vol.2 is a bit different compared to PC, PS2, therefore some technical errors occur in this game?

If I am right, Sun Shang Xiang is Sun Quan's sister, instead of daughter... difference of PS2, PC and PSP...

Why 'disposed of'? If I am right, should be... 'disposed' right?

It seems that sometimes games also got it's error (at before I only think PC games are always flawed).

A little notice at here and greetings.

Yo.

At here sending some information about the registration on the SMP. It seems that there are some problem on the registration of the courses in SMP and I don't know when will the problem is solved... Just for your information, register for the courses that they are available at the moment.

Then...
Merry Christmas and Awal Muharam to y'all, as well as Happy New Year 2009
at here first.

Meet y'all around again at next week! Hopefully that you all get the good results (and for those who taking DA last semester).

P/S: Perhaps you might need survival guide for DA? Let me know.

Monday, December 22, 2008

A little news here.

'Mates, our result is out. Quickly log in to the SMP and let us know your result.

I have a slight improvement and some results are not good as expected though. However, at least my pointer increase and better than before. (I am afraid that my results for this semester drops since there are a lot 'killers'...)

I survived for this semester again. Hopefully at next semester I survive too.

Another thing... we might need to re-register for our course as it seems that the pre-registration is lost (but there is nothing in the list of registration if you scroll down to 2/2)...

Additional Information!

P/S: I still got no idea about the time table of Social Context, hopefully that the department will upload the time table soon. Wish you luck for the results.

Thanks. I am one year older now.

Well. 12a.m. just passed. And I have one more year older. Celebrating my birthday... nope. I don't celebrate my birthday (just have a dinner with my family). And that's why my friends don't know when is my birthday (well I am not interested on telling them too).

Thanks to my friends that have place me a benediction through various ways, and I am really appreciate it.

2 more weeks to go. Wish those are celebrating Muharam a happy Muharam as well as Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

P/S: Any updates regard to the course will still in here. But it seems that the academic department is lazy though since there are various holidays... and we already know about how 'efficient' they are...

Sharing a good game in holiday...

Nothing to do at holidays, and just keep on waiting for the result and playing games. Found out that this game (that I am playing) recently is quite good, therefore I am going to show this to my friends and PSP RPG gamers.

This RPG game is called: Eiyuu Densetsu: Sora No Kiseki the 3rd 英雄伝説6:空の轨迹 (JAP), or The Legend of Heroes: Sora No Kiseki 3rd. Unfortunately, this game is only available in both Chinese (translated by some editors and fans, salute them) and Japanese version, in both PC and PSP platform. This game was out at the beginning of the year, but unfortunately it is not available in Chinese version, and that's the reason I played this recently.

For this, this is the Extra Version for the game, after the FC and SC (First and Second Chapter) from the original game, and this is the 3rd, which the story is mentioned a year or two after the SC's story background. (I am playing the Chinese version as I don't understand Japanese...)

Below are the screen shots that I take with my PSP. Thanks to the translators and now I finally understand the game (bought the UMD a while but blurred..)

The battle interface, and this screen appears when one of the character (This is called Klaudia, the princess of one of the three empires in the story, but she got another 'disguised' name - Klose. For the 3rd, the main character is the one with green hair, named Kevin Graham.

One of the mini game's interface. Looks like Fist of North Star...

The dialogue of the characters (this is the female protagonist, named Ritz.)

Some other characters (the upper screen is called Josette Capua and the lower one in Japanese characters is called Oliver Linheim) in the game. Playable characters in the game are 16. (More than FC and SC as in FC you only have 6 playable and SC you have 8)

The language had modded but everything is still same (the only difference is I understand what the game's story is happening as it is Chinese and they translated it perfectly).

The difference with certain RPG game, this version have more better story interface (you will confuse if you not yet played the First and Second Chapter).

If you are going to ask my opinion based on the gaming criteria with the scale of A to E, then I can give the score as follow...

Gameplay: A-
Like most RPG game, this game is flawless in the RTS rule. Flexible orbments in the game allows you to create better spells and affects your status points, which makes you to think wisely for the built-up.
Story: A
Links the line from FC to SC and create a special story by using the Moon Chamber and Star Chamber in the game (to reveal the memory of the characters and show you some spoilers of the characters.
Interface: B+
For PC I am pretty sure it will be OK. But for PSP it might cause a little problem as the screen is too small and the words are not big. Might have a pain on reading the words.
Graphic: A-
Using both 2D and 3D and the details are good. However, the character in 3D might not so beautiful if compared to 2D...
Music: A
Nothing to say - Japanese game's music (especially RPG) are quite flawless.
Control: B
Not really easy to control if you are a first timer, especially for the battle as it is different with most RPG game (can say that is similar to Grandia). And you need to turn the angle always as in the normal interface (not the menu) is in 3D.

Not going to give more information as I think the screenshot shows better (and I am not a game critic nor faq maker). Try it. It is a good RPG game, for PSP and PC.

Mystery Letter?

Yesterday, I received an 'unknown receiver' letter, which is sent via Registered Mail. It was a post card, but at there, it has no information except my mailing name and my address.

This is how the post card looks. I wonder who sent this to me as my address at my hometown is quite 'rare' as not a lot of my friends know about it.

Holidays

Home sweet home. Alas... it is the time for relaxation and we should spend our month wisely with parents.

I think I am the first one got 'idled' when the holiday comes. Just gonna to think out what am I supposed to do in the breaks. Trapped in a small town like mine got something good or bad... sometimes.

Perhaps I will start to ask about the way to show out the result quicker. It is boring as it is a pain that for me to wait the result. Do anyone is worried about the courses for next semester (especially for those who is taking DA)? It is quite cruel for this but perhaps I am looking forward to hear a lot of news from y'all about the lecturers for next semester. I got my words on this: Even though he is annoying (sometimes), but just try to accept him. Of course you can ignore him, but not reject him as after all he is not a really bad (sometimes) lecturer too.

And at last... my foreign language is at the last level. Should put an end on this and really hope that the results for this into our result slip is abolished. We should focus on English more instead of foreign language. What my school did for this year is quite good as for my course they were forced to take English first before they take any foreign language (even though the amount of this batch's student is just 1/5 of my batch).

A lot of good PSP game is out too (Yugioh GX Tag Force 3, Warriors Orochi 2: Maou Sairin, Dissidia: Final Fantasy, WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2009...). Should waste the time for downloading the game as well as the OST. What more...?

The 'thoughts' of this semester.

A semester again, and I am going to do the ‘thing’ that I always do for every semester… the evaluation for my course for the moment. So far, this semester seems not really pleasant as there are trouble and also something bad (personal) happens around me..

Let’s get started. I will use the ratings for the index (scale 1 to 5), for course difficulty, the higher the rating, the harder the course. For stress, the higher the rating, means the course is stressful. For workload, the lower the rate, the ‘load’ is lower for this course. For ‘others’, the lower the rating, means there are no issue and the course is absolutely good.

DA
Course Difficulty: 3
Stress Index: 4
Workload: 4
Others: 2

Wow, this is one of the major course that most of our friends will try to avoid, just in order to buy some time and hope that the lecturer for this course change in the next semester. Sorry to say but the lecturer for this course still remains at the next semester.

This course is actually not that hard, the only issue about this course is the lecturer is somehow… strict. His lectures are hard to understand due to the ‘complexity’ of the words he used for the lectures. As it is actually an easy thing he made it complicated. Sometimes it is better if you study yourself and ignore the technical words yourself. The assignment is not that hard, but it is really time consuming as you need to do a lot of research to analyse this and that, as well as follow the way a researcher to do the research. I guess this has to do with his course taught too (after all he is the coordinator for research purposes).

Awfully to say, he might be a pain in his personality, but undoubtedly he is a good lecturer that will not bias (he said it, so I dunno about this). It is also true that this course will aid or affect us in our future PSMP as well as the way we do our practicum and also in daily life (we applied it indirectly). Well… Just a word from me, focus on what he teaches is enough. If he wants to do something else or to show off, let him be. There are some lecturers are even worse than him. (You will find it out soon enough).
His tutorials will be the best moment to kill you out. Beware. This is what I impress about him (not confirm yet), if he still giving the assignments as a solo work, and the presentations in solo too? Then there will be roughly 80-100 presentations and also solo assignments, and is the format for the mid term and finals for this course is still essay? A lot of questions remain.

P/S: His final is easy to score too! If he is really serious that he is not bias and taking account for the marks, then for sure I can score for this test… just if he is mean ‘bout that though.

LTA
Course Difficulty: 3
Stress Index: 2
Workload: 3
Others: 1

This is a ‘supposed to be 3rd year’ course to take. However, it has been taken by us at this semester, and this is taught by our coordinator. It is more about how we are going to assess our test and create a good test paper based on the criterions. Sadly, I have no idea that what I have learned for so far. Luckily to say, even though I don’t know what I have learned in the lecture, but still I can learn something through tutorial. His tutorial is really interactive (if compared to certain course) as most of the tutorials started and ended with discussion. We can say anything during the tutorial (as long as it makes sense).

The workload is quite heave due to the marks allocation, but this is a good opportunity for me as the mid terms and finals are only cost 50% of the weightage, it means that process is also important for us to score well. Not really confident that I can score this or not, a B or better is good enough.

Syntax
Course Difficulty: 4
Stress Index: 4
Workload: 1
Others: 3
This is the course that taught by a foreigner. What I learned for this course is… learned 50 and confuse 50. I am blur about what he taught after the mid semester exam. The tally of this course is also a ‘?’ as he did not mentioned it (maybe he mentioned but I am not sure). And a yay for him - he is the first lecturer caught cheaters on spot in the mid term exam. That is the reason he is mad for a day as there are ‘some’ of us tried to deceive him (and you know who it is).

The workload for this course is tremendously low. We just need to do an assignment, and a portfolio (we actually done that by week to week, perhaps he wants to see that any of us is not paying attention in the lectures). But, how much are the marks for those items?

Honestly, I cannot get the hang about this course, is because the atmosphere of the lecture. It is dull. And I cannot get any information about what I had learned even though I attended (and spent some time outside during the lecture) all of his lectures and tutorials. He has requirements for us too, so it is not easy to score for this one.

Psychology
Course Difficulty: 5
Stress Index: 5
Workload: 2
Others: 4

I don’t know what happened to the lecturers for this semester. What I can say that I am appallingly annoyed with this course. Who knows what happened to the first lecturer, from what I heard from the second lecturer, she had gone to further study for the moment, and we will be going to miss the first 7 lectures for this course. The second lecturer can ask us to change this course so that we can avoid that we learned nothing… but they didn’t do so, even the school too. How sad.

The total lectures for this course is not even 5 (even the second lecturer have any extra time or what) and I don’t have the idea about what I am supposed to do or learn or study, and the final for this is insane. 108 questions include 8 subjective, by paying RM10 to buy his book and study everything within 2 weeks?! Shoot. Not going to say about this anymore….

Pentadbiran
Course Difficulty: 4
Stress Index: 3
Workload: 2
Others: 2

This is another course I took for this semester. The lecturer for this course is really kind, and she seems to be really experienced in teaching (indeed she is as she has became principal for years before she became lecturer). This course is a bit tough (as she is using both English and Malay to teach), but it is not a problem as you can get the information from the notes and study yourself; you will get the hang so soon. Her teaching style is unique too, as she only teaches after we have presented our work (and that was the assignment, make a PowerPoint of your own topic and present it before you do your assignment in essay mode). It make we can understand the topic further.

The final paper is a bit tough, as we need to study 9 topics and only 6 out of 9 are chosen for the final paper. And this course for this semester is really unique. Even though this is a major school course, there are only 16 students (including me) taking for this course. It is rare somehow.

Computer curricular activity
Course Difficulty: 2
Stress Index: 2
Workload: 1
Others: 2

They said that co-curricular activity is used to save your pointers as it holds 3 credit hours, and it is true. I taken this co-curricular activity this semester (related to computers) and it seems that is not really that hard. The only thing that is stress enough is because I need to sacrifice my Saturdays and 2 mornings to study something that is not really useful. As a ‘kokum’ taker, I also need to sacrifice one of my Sundays to attend the carnival (if you have read my earlier post), just for the marks. This course is not really that hard unless you don’t have even a little bit basics on computers.

Others than need to waste your time on Saturdays, co-curricular activities are sometimes useful… on saving your pointers and money.

I guess there is nothing to say about Spanish. It is still tough as always, and now I hope I can survive and get a B- or something, and then I can say that I am relief enough. Rumors that the language result will not be taking account in next semester. Don’t know it is real or not (but I hope it is real though).

I think this also concludes the comments for the courses for this semester. It is for sure that next semester will be tougher than this one, so let’s strive together to survive for it. Let’s enjoy our holiday and meet again at next semester. Bon voyage and I will update this as soon as I can.

Just something with regard to our course.

Okay, so it seems that there are lot of problems on our faculty and our coordinator is trying to sort the problems out. So this is the response I get from the lecturer.

From the next semester onwards, all of us must going to get the same major regardless of the number of us. There will be no additional options and if you miss it, then the worst condition is to extend your study. You don't like it, so do I. Nobody loves to extend the study for this reason.

There will be 4 major (total of 12 hour credit) that we must take for next semester.

1. Discourse Analysis (WED, 8-10am)
2. Approaches to Language Learning (MON 11-1pm)
3. Introduction to Morphology (FRI, 8-10am)
4. The Social Context of Language Learning (Unknown yet)
5. Materials Development (THUR 10-12pm) *my mistake on this. Changed to correct day.

You only need to choose between Discourse Analysis and Approaches to Language Learning. If you taken Discourse Analysis, then in the next semester you will need to take Approaches to Language Learning and vice versa.

In your pre registration for the next semester, please take the courses that listed as above. For the time table for The Social Context of Language Learning, I think the admin office (not so confident though) or the lecturer will inform us as soon as possible.

Therefore, for most of us, the credit hours for next semester will be like this...

4 Majors (12CH), 2 Schools / 1 School, 1 PPIB/ Kokum (6CH) and 1 Foreign Language (2CH) that sums up to 20, or 17CH or 14CH, up to you.

Remember, all of the major course listed above are the courses that we MUST TAKE. You will regret for sure if you not taking it for the next semester.

Any information will be updated as soon as I can. Unless stated other way, or not we will stick onto these courses for next semester.

P/S: I will totally ignore whomever that SMS me about this. Unless you call me, otherwise I will not reply to your SMS.

The School's Carnival Co-curriculum day (Karnival Kokum)

Ever wondered how is Carnival Kokum in our school? This is how it looks like, take around 3 hours and performances with a average arrangement (well it is like that). The pictures here - as I promised. Have a view on these and enjoy.

Backstage event.

The orchestra team, it seems that they also making the background music for the theater below.

If I am right, this the drama that is something related to Tuah and Jebat (theater)... But not completed as the full version is on the next day in Recital Hall.

The Music asli... But it seems to be more in choir.

The Senam Robik, second part.

Lotsa bows, undoubtedly that this is archery.

'Genuine' club of mechanics. This is the co-curricular for "Mekanik Asas".

The SEJATI. This is one of the 5 parts in SEJATI, and if I am right, the Kembara section.

The choirs. Divided into two parts - black and white.

Not so sure what is this, but I think it is related to Batik.

The Tarian Asli, I presume.

The first Windows computer from Acer, the HDD is only 5GB and the RAM is 16MB (try to compare with today's computer).

This is the PC show of one of the co-curricular activity. It seems that this is the first DOS computer from Acer, in 1990-th.

I think this is calligraphy...

Golf. They held a putting game after that. I did joined but I only get a put from 5 of them.

I think this is the seni khat?

The first show of the carnival, silat cekak (Just if I spelled it right).

Well. It seems that items are not in chronological order because I forget that which one is for which. Anyway here are photos and enjoy. I am also not sure that if I have fun at there since I need to wake up early at Sunday, it is painful for me.

Final Exams, Good Luck.

Some of us had started the final exam yesterday and surely we have suffered extremely a lot in the 'psiko' exam and those dang lecturer and school's fault by not informing us that the lecturer is missing or what, the second lecturer teaches not more than 5 lessons and gave the book in last 2 weeks and then suddenly exams, exams, exams... Surely I am finished with that subject. D-oh.

Just cutted my Celcom Broadband and now I am using D campus. Quite slow, but better than nothing. Will try to upload something interesting within this week (still working on the carnival kokum in my school).

Friends, good luck for your final exam. Any updates I will make it at here. (DA is really easy! Ha!)

27th October

Well. 27th of this month is surely a unique day. Why? Let me go into further details.

1. pGURU meeting
This is the first. And it seems that finally (yeah, finally!) they have decided about the executives (EXCO) for the association. No doubt, I am taking the EXCO of publishing and information. At the same time, this EXCO has changed the name into ICT for this year.

At the beginning, I thought this is not a hard job, but then, I think it is... pathetic. Heard that pguru got its own website and launched at previous semester. However, when I viewed to it, there are numerous codings and not even a thing inside! The website is also too long for them to type. Just wonder making a blog (but stupid procedures and rules about copyright or whatever...) will be easier, isn't it? Guess I will starting to have a hard time on this for the next semester.

2. Friend's birthday
Well, think about birthday, surely think about the trouble. So far I am only celebrating my friend's birthday. Wonder if I got the chance to celebrate mine? All 4 of my friends had celebrated their birthday and today I and my friends celebrated her birthday at her house. Sure thing to say, it is crowded at her house. At least we still have the good time and she is happy too.

3. Friend's issue
I don't know how to say about it, but just want to know is the competition on the scores are important? Frankly, my pointer is just 3.++ and I don't have the intention into any list or whatever we call it. The thing I need to do is just survive for the whole university life and maintain at least a 3 pointer for my better future. So please, friends, stop spreading words that I am self-centered or whatever (if not then I will not volunteer myself to do so much jobs and helping you all)... Like it or not, being honest and indirect sometimes are my personality. It can be my strength and my weakness sometimes, as I hate to do the appearance making.

4. Others
Yeah, I got plenty of photoes and I am arranging. It is about the SIE at my area as well as the carnival of co-curricular activity at my school. Give me some time as I am busy on my assignment and hopefully I can done it within this week.

Fire Alarm and...

What can you imagine when the fire alarm in your dormitory 'rings' at the midnight?

I experienced that just yesterday. What I can tell I am totally 'blank' as I am not sure that either the alarm is real or something goes wrong with the alarm. After a few minutes of confusion and perhaps... chaos in the beginning, and then it seems that the alarm was faulty or maybe somebody disturbed the alarm.

Today, I am almost in rage. Thanks to our psychology lecturer, teaches us nothing but tests us everything. I just realise that he is even more insane than one of my lecturer and even certain lecturers. Try to imagine. Can you finish everything unless you try your luck for answering at least 120 MCQ, then followed with some structure, and also essay questions?! Gosh, ALL OF THESE IN 120 MINUTES! He is totally insane and frankly to say, I am pissed off with this fella! Cannot imagine there is a lecturer that is even worse.

I would prefer to get a 14 hour credit for this semester, or maybe a TD for my result slip, rather than study nothing and get no knowledge, and what he did in the lectures are talking rot and nonsense. 14 weeks of a lecture and he showed up at the 8th week, with a total of less than 6 lectures for the rest of the week, we need to hand in our assignment, and also have the midterm and this and that...

Sigh. What result I can get for this semester? A lot of courses that dragging my pointer down for this semester. I am dissapointed, and worried.

Untitled #4

Guess there is nothing special for the moment as there is no any special events except last friday, the meeting of my school about the election of pGURU.

What to say... I have gained an EXCO posistion that I wanted to be, that is called what... at the moment is called as EXCO Penerbitan dan Informasi. I think this is the field that suits me the best as I am not interested on the higher posistion (actually I did think about it, but frankly, I did not put up a lot of hope on those posistion).

Actually, the main thing I am going to hold about is - the 'warranty' and also the priority on live at the hostel. Now I am relieved as I will no need to join so many activities and I can learn about new things.

Hopefully everything goes fine. Especially for this 'final week' as I am going to be dead meat. Tons of assignments...

We got people stuck in between the walls, and now we got the cat stuck between the 'fence and the window'. It know how to get in but 'dunno' how to get out. Wonder it was stuck inside for how long.

Struggle for few hours (ignoring and attempt to attack somebody that try to save it) and finally it went out free.

Untitled -#3

Seems to be another boring week again, rushing for assignments. Hopefully there will not be any issue that can be raised about as there are a lot of troubles coming from here and there.

Perhaps one of my lecturer mentioned is correct - they (especially my coursemates) should know to use the thinking of research on this.

Gala night is coming, and I am troubled with my current assigment in my future semester - the Spanish Family Day. Hopefully it will not raise up any problems as this is the first time I am doing this.

Going to write out a huge ranting within these days and look forward to the content inside. What I am ranting in the future might just have a strike onto you. Correct me if I am wrong if wrote something questionable in the post I am going to do in these days. Skip that ranting if you are not mature enough to think rationally.

The tutorial question for Reading - Click Here (Reminder: In this archive, there are 3 images, count as Page 1 to 3. If you cannot view it, just zoom in the pictures and there are some parts are not really clear. This file size is quite huge [2.3MB], take your time to download and it is resumeable by using download accelerator to fasten your download). I purposely do so to save time, money and papers. So you can directly download it from here, easy for you as well...

The tutorial question for Listening - Click Here [It is around 2.1MB.] I have another link at the forum too, review there if you need help for the tutorial or cannot download it.

Yeah... It seems that this has caused an issue as well. This is a compressed .zip file. You will need to use WinRar, WinZip or any similar program to this to extract the compilation. Then after you extracted it, there will appear 3 image files which you can use any of the image viewer or editing program such as Paint, Microsoft Photo Viewer to view the photos.

Another thing. These are all image files. You must unzip the archive before you open the files (like WinZip or WinRar), and then use any image editing or MS Photo Gallery to preview on the picture, and it is done. You cannot open with Word...

How to find Win Rar?
1. Go to www.rarlab.com/download.htm and download it (Current version is 3.80, might got updates from time to time).
2. Click Here to download it.

Click Here for the Excel formatted name list for your assignment. Good luck to you if you not yet 'registered' as I passed the list to the lecturer.

This Tuesday got lecture, for LTA and I am not sure yet for Syntax tutorial.
Tuesday: Lecture (Usual)

Look back to the downloads of the tutorial questions as I have updated some information on it.

A ranting of myself. Really. (1)

Busy with several midterms in a week and at last it called it an end.

Bothered a lot with the matters - an easy work becomes complicated.

Ah... holidays. Soon is Raya and after Raya I will got a lot of assignments to hand out, hopefully I got the time to do so. At least 40% for my works should be OK. At least I no need to rush for that. More problems to come on after the holiday, I think so...

A lot of us went back for holiday 'already' for the Hari Raya. So just put a message to my friends that Happy Raya Puasa to you and make sure bring something delicious back to me oh~

Now we might hope that everything are going fine and we managed to pass up our assignments, and..
My Psychology Class and other classes.
What I can say, I got a headache when my friends talked about this. This can be one of my worst course for the moment. Lacks of lecturer for 7 weeks without any notice or what, and now we are forced to 'go with the aeroplane' and rush everything out for the rest of the weeks...

This surely will come out with a lot of chaos, and I might not survive on this course.

The analysis of ....
I think I can regard this as a 'safe point' for the moment. He feel sorry for it, or maybe I behaved 'well' who knows.

Events...
Somehow... A lot of conflict happens around me, with this term 'birthday'. Heard a lot from my mates' about something is really confidential as I need to maintain as a 'sharer' and secret holder. See... It seems that this semester I am going to company a lot of my friends on celebrating someone's birthday, for once or twice... Me? I never celebrated my birthday after I am at the age of 12. But still, after I opened my account in Friendster and some of my friends did put a comment on my profile regarding to my birthday, thanks. I got no chance to celebrate it...

Quite speechless about this.

And... the bee, dog and cat issues in the hostel. This is what we call politics in the hostel.

Guess still got a lot more to go, but I don't know how to describe it... let it be in the next chapter.

Don't know what to write again. It seems that my friends also don't know how to use the net quite well, except go to Friendster... While they got problem on anything regarding to the notes or what at my blog, tons of SMS are coming and I need to reply to them one by one...

I might be showing off, but this is the only way for me to put up the notice which is efficient, and cost saving. For you might think that I am stingy or what to reply your SMS, but think in a way of research. Let's say 50 people like you SMS me with that... A SMS costs me 15 sen for it you know. What will happen if all of the coursemates SMS me for the same time just for a question "we got XXXX Class or not?"

Honestly, I don't think the Net availability is not an issue here, maybe for College E. Since you have time to go to the crappy LMS site, why bother to come here, at least have a support except for gaining information or keep SMS me on those issues? I don't bother to get a broadband even though I know I might not always using it. At least I need it for these months before the final exam because this is a need for us. Please-lah, be active and stop giving excuses (if you are able to go to other site such as Friendster, please bother a moment and step into here).

Please think the reason behind I am using my blog for my own ranting as well as using it for the information notice for the courses. I need the support...

IM Security Alert.

Security alert for IM peoples!

Have you ever receive a message something like this below from your friend?

They logged in, sent you an IM with a freakly weird address, and then logs out.

This is one of my IM interface I received yesterday. My friend 'logged' in, then send you something like the link above and then logs out. Your message will not send to them even that you have replied to them (even though the Offline Messaging is supported).

Similar with this, they send you an attachment like 'photo of my party' with a small size in .zip format... inside also includes virus that can destroy you HDD if your anti virus is not strong enough.

I just heard about that these are viruses or hacks from the site. Anyway, just be careful about that. Make sure you don't click to these websites if you found that site is fishy. Ask your friends once more to make sure that it is the right site.

The Journey to the Sabah Inlands

The semester break I and my friends have a trip from Lawas to Tenom and also Keningau at Sabah. During the journey I have used my phone to take some pictures so that to let you see the towns of Sabah as most towns in Peninsula are cities (I reckon so).

Take the route from Sipitang to Tenom. A new road and trying to experience the route so as the journey. Takes time for me to post it out due to the photos. Takes around 2 hours from Lawas to Tenom.

Where and what specialty is in Tenom? Perhaps you should know about Fatt Choi Coffee and most black coffee in Sabah and Sarawak is from Tenom.

The town of Tenom, Sabah.

The halfway from Tenom to Keningau. Quite green-ish.

All of these are the city of Keningau, where located before Tenom. Both of these towns don't have airport as the altitude of these cities.

The 'Banjaran Crocker'. Heard that this location recently is a national park. During the road you might saw something like the lower image. This is called to be the emergency lane (in case the brake is not functioning), as the road is steeply.

Inland journey sometimes are fun, you know.

This is what we called... LIFE! #4

Okay... not a lot of words for today. Just some photos. It is boring sometimes when it comes out with no idea, as this few weeks a lot of my friends are celebrating their birthday...

Starts out with the blood donation in the campus. She is 'fortunate' because I found her in the blood donation.

A girl (my coursemate) that wants to donate blood but afraid to her own blood. D-oh.

Then with that, today we are renting car to go out and enjoy for the life. Celebrating a friend's birthday, I can say... So we went to Damai and also City Mall to prepare a surprise...

The pictures are mostly from San Francisco Coffee, City Mall.

He wants to take a photo but his photo was taken by me.

These are untitled (no idea...).

They say this is the family of godfather?

Praying... or eating?

One of the rare photo (I consider) as I don't like to take pictures. The guy with yellow shirt is me.

We always say a monkey with a tree, and now we got a human with a street lamp. :P

Outdoor games in a community area. Quite fun, somehow..

Sweep kick perform.

Reckon that my friend is lucky, after the first celebration with us and just at the same night, his girlfriend celebrates for him again in the cafe of our hostel.

The 'luxurious' version of birthday cake that his friends held that night.

The birthday boy and his girlfriend.

Quite a number of us were celebrating for his birthday.

Well... Final words... Happy birthday Garry (for your 21st).

We should try to enjoy our life. Complaint on our life is important too. Happy or not, we still need to face it. So why want to bother it? (Learned quite a lot recently, still need to thanks to the 'lecturer', but still my opinion will not change...)

Hopefully you like it. Takes a lot of time to do about this.
